The freemasonry and the media, between love and hate
Le Temps des médias n° 31, Automne 2018, p. 27-47.The freemasonry is a global network that intends to realize a universal chain of union. If its development was facilitaded by the printed book, that diffused its principles, it is however true that the mass media had an ambivalent role towards this network, because they also propagated an antimasonic current. Nowadays, the situation seems to change, the masonic organizations using traditional media and internet in order to give a positive image of freemasons. Social networks, in fact, could contribute to modify the links between the free-masons.
